Recrutement en CDD d'un(e) Post-Doc en logistique urbaine - recherche opérationnelle

Contexte du poste

Le présent contrat s’inscrit dans le cadre du projet de recherche (ANR – PRCI) « SUD » - Sustainable Urban Deliveries - dont l’EM Normandie Business School est le co-porteur.

L’objectif du projet SUD est de démontrer que les livraisons urbaines peuvent être effectuées par des modes de transport neutres en carbone et moins nocifs, tout en restant économiquement viables et répondant aux besoins des citoyens.

Le projet répondra à trois objectifs scientifiques pour le déploiement d’un système de distribution durable dans un environnement multi-échelon : (i) analyser l’introduction de nouveaux moyens de livraison en ville, (ii) définir la taille des flottes et les emplacements de livraison et (iii) étudier la planification des itinéraires dans des contextes statiques et dynamiques.

Ce projet se fera en partenariat avec l’ « Institute for Transport and Logistics Management, Vienna University of Economics and Business » (Assoz. Prof. Vera Hemmelmayr).

L’EM Normandie Business School, localisée sur 6 campus (Caen, Le Havre, Paris, Oxford, Dublin et Dubaï), forme des cadres supérieurs et des entrepreneurs en s’appuyant sur un corps professoral de haut niveau composé de 100 professeurs permanents. Accréditée AACSB, EQUIS et EPAS, l’Ecole développe des activités de recherche académique et partenariale et vise une reconnaissance internationale d'expertises utiles à son territoire (logistique maritime et portuaire, économie du numérique, entrepreneuriat et management des PME, transition énergétique et économie circulaire, etc.).

Description du poste

La personne recrutée aura pour mission de :

• Contribuer à établir un état de l’art pour le projet

• Identifier les besoins et analyser et définir des concepts de livraisons urbaines.

• Développer des algorithmes d’optimisation pour une planification dynamique et anticipative des livraisons

• Evaluer les nouvelles méthodes

Post-Doc position in urban logistics – operational research - Fixed-term contract  (part-time)

Context

This contract is part of the research project (ANR - PRCI) "SUD" - Sustainable Urban Deliveries - of which EM Normandie Business School is the co-leader.

 The aim of the SUD project is to demonstrate that urban deliveries can be made using carbon-neutral and less harmful modes of transport, while remaining economically viable and meeting the needs of citizens.

The project will address three scientific objectives for the deployment of a sustainable distribution system in a multi-scale environment: (i) to analyse the introduction of new means of delivery in the city, (ii) to define fleet sizes and delivery locations and (iii) to study route planning in static and dynamic contexts.
This project will be carried out in partnership with the Institute for Transport and Logistics Management, Vienna University of Economics and Business (Assoz. Prof. Vera Hemmelmayr).

EM Normandie Business School, located on 6 campuses (Caen, Le Havre, Paris, Oxford, Dublin and Dubai), trains senior executives and entrepreneurs with the support of a high-level teaching staff of 110 permanent professors. Accredited by AACSB, EQUIS and EPAS, the School is developing academic research and partnerships, and is aiming for international recognition in areas of expertise useful to its region (maritime and port logistics, digital economy, entrepreneurship and management of SMEs, energy transition and circular economy, etc.).

Position description

The person recruited will be responsible for:

• Contribute to establishing a state of the art for the project.

• Identify needs and analyse and define urban delivery concepts.

• Develop optimisation algorithms for dynamic and anticipatory delivery planning.

• Evaluate the new methods.

Profil recherché

- Maîtrise de l’anglais (lu, écrit, parlé)

- Forte capacité d’analyse

- Aptitude à travailler en équipe et à s’adapter

- Esprit d’initiative et respect des délais de restitution.

- Être titulaire d’un doctorat en recherche opérationnelle

- Expérience dans la résolution de problèmes de tournés de véhicules

- Expérience dans la résolution de problèmes d’optimisation dynamique

• Strong analytical skills

• A PhD in operational research

• Experience in solving vehicle turnaround problems

• Experience in solving dynamic optimisation problems
